OZ invites you to make history: READ THE report ON ZONING REGULATIONS REENGINEERING STUDY, VIEW OUR BRIEFING PRESENTATION, AND COMPLETE OUR SURVEY FORM

The Office of Zoning is pleased to present the results of the first phase of its Zoning Regulations Reengineering (ZRR) study to design and build a modern Technical and Legal Infrastructure to house the District’s forthcoming revised Zoning Regulations. OZ hired White & Smith, HNTB, and Justice and Sustainability, LLC to conduct this first phase of the ZRR.

Please take some time to read and/or watch:

Preliminary findings on what makes a modern technical and legal infrastructure effective and user-friendly:

Complete our Survey Form (PDF Format). This will allow OZ to include your responses in the design and development of a modern technical and legal infrastructure. As most of you know, the District’s zoning regulations and attendant infrastructure have not been significantly updated since 1958. (download MS Word version)
