Jerrily R. Kress, FAIA, Retires
Jerrily R. Kress, Director, Office of Zoning (OZ), retired effective January 2, 2009. Ms. Kress was appointed Director in July 1999. During her nine-and-a-half year tenure, she reorganized and transformed the Office of Zoning into a first class District of Columbia Government agency. Her leadership resulted in a significant streamlining of the zoning process, and improvement of the delivery of technical, administrative, and professional services to District Residents and the public in general. The staff of OZ would like to offer Ms. Kress their deepest appreciation and very best wishes for the future.
In the interim, Richard Nero is serving as Acting Director.
