Introducing the New and improved District of Columbia Interactive Zoning Map
The DC Office of Zoning (OZ) is proud to introduce a new and improved Zoning Map for the District of Columbia. The Zoning Map is fully interactive, provides state-of-the-art graphics, and can be customized to provide users a unique view of zoning information. With this technology, the District of Columbia is a nationwide leader in providing access to interactive zoning data!
The Zoning Map allows users to determine the zoning classification for any property in the District. Users can search for zoning information by specific address, square and lot, parcel, or Zoning Commission case (where applicable). Users can also ascertain zoning information on specific properties for which a Planned Unit Development (PUD) has been granted by the Zoning Commission.
For each property, users can navigate to a "street view" that provides a different visual means of gaining information about the site. Further, users can customize the Zoning Map to display certain specific layers of data.
When a user selects a property, zoning information is provided as well as links to any Zoning Commission Orders associated with the property and neighborhood representation for the site.
Users can also create a zoning report for each property. The report is an information breakthrough – users will receive critical information concerning permissible zoning for the selected property as well as the attributes associated with each applicable Zone District and Overlay. The report is critical to a thorough analysis of zoning data for each property.
OZ is proud of the new District of Columbia Interactive Zoning Map! We look forward to continuing to use cutting edge technology to provide current and accurate zoning data.
