June 2012 - Mercedes Frazier
Mercedes Frazier was welcomed into the Office of Zoning (OZ) in June 2009. Mercedes serves as the Contact Representative for the office, where her primary function is to welcome and assist all customers who visit in person, or call the office. In this position she is responsible for preparing the BZA public hearing notices and explaining the sign notice process to the applicants. She monitors the scheduled use of the hearing room and conference rooms. Mercedes maintains the telephone testing standards and language access protocol. In addition, she provides administrative and clerical support to the OZ staff. Mercedes joined OZ after working 20 years at Hobart West Solutions working her way up to the position of Hospital Housekeeping Supervisor where she managed employees for Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University Hospital. In her spare time Mercedes loves to bake and entertain friends and family.
