Industries, Inc.) pursuant to 11 DCMR §§ 3100 and 3101, from the administrative decision of the Zoning Administrator to withhold the issuance of a certificate of occupancy for a trash transfer station in a then M District (the subject property has since been rezoned to C-M-1 and C-M-3) at premises 1140 3rd Street, NE (Square 748, Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 42, 43, 809 through 812).

16867 - Application of R. Bradley Runyan, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to construct a roof deck on a single-family dwelling under section 223, not meeting the lot occupancy (section 403) requirements, and a special exception allowing relief from the penthouse set back provisions under subsection 411.11 (section 400.7(b)), in the DCOD/R-5-B District at premises 1317 21st Street, NW (Square 97, Lot 60).

16868 - Application of Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, pursuant to 11 DCMR §§ 3104.1 and 1906, for a special exception to reduce the parking requirements from 31 to 12 spaces outside the Central Area under section 2107, and a special exception from the pedestrian street frontage design requirement under section 1903, to allow the construction of a new mixed use (office and ground floor retail) building in the ARTS/C-2-A District at premises 1290 U Street, NW (Square 274, Lot 133).

16815 - Application of Adams Alley, LLC, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1 for a special exception from the Reed-Cooke Overlay building height provisions under subsection 1403.1, and pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2 for a variance from the floor area ratio requirements under section 402, a variance from the nonconforming structure provisions under subsection 2001.3 for a building not meeting the lot occupancy requirements (section 403) and a variance from the restrictions governing the use of alley lots under section 2507 to allow the construction of an addition to an existing structure for use as a mixed-use (residential, office, and private club) in a RC/R-5-B District at premises Rear 2412 17th Street, NW (Square 2566, Lot 95).

16831 - Application of Jose R. Sanchez, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2 for a variance from the lot occupancy requirements under section 403, a variance from the minimum width of an open court requirements under section 406, and a variance from the rear yard depth requirements under section 404 to allow a deck addition to a single family row dwelling in an R-3 District at premises 5022 7th Street, NW (Square 3148, Lot 131).

16829 - Application of Rosa L. Smith, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2 for a variance from the minimum lot area requirements under subsection 401.3, and a variance from the off-street parking provisions under subsection 2101.1 for the conversion of an existing nonconforming structure to a four (4) unit apartment house in an R-4 District at premises 1803 9th Street, NW (Square 394, Lot 810).

16866 - Application of Howard University and Metropolitan Day School, Inc., Inc., pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to allow a child development center (including a before and after-care program) having 40 children, ages 3 ½ to 15 years under section 205, and a private elementary school having 160 students and 28 staff under section 206, and in an R-2 District at premises 1240 Randolph Street, NE (Square 3924, Lot 25).

16863 - Application of S & P Properties, LLC, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the lot occupancy requirements under section 403, a variance from the rear yard requirements under section 404, and a variance from the nonconforming structure provisions under subsection 2001.3, to allow the conversion of a single-family dwelling and carriage house into a 5 unit apartment house in the DD/R-5-B District at premises 420 M Street, NW (Square 514, Lot 863).

16873 - Application of National Association for the Education of Young Children, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to continue the use of an existing parking lot under section 213, in the DCOD/R-5-B District at premises 1522-1526 Church Street, NW (Square 194, Lots 50-52).

16872 - Application of Alison Gray, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to allow an accessory apartment under subsection 202.10, in the R-1-B District at premises 3633 Elliott Street, NW (Square 1983, Lot 47).

16875 - Application of All Souls Memorial Episcopal Church, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to allow the use of an existing accessory parking lot for week day parking under section 213, in the R-4 District at premises 2300 Cathedral Avenue, NW (Square 2208, Lots 23 & 24).

16876 - Application of 1531 P & Associates LLC, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the nonconforming structure provisions under subsection 2001.3, to allow the construction of a roof deck and penthouse on an existing building that exceeds the maximum lot occupancy requirements under section 532, in the SP-1 District at premises 1531, 1533 & 1535 P Street, NW (Square 194, Lot 111).
