16854 - Application of Mr. & Mrs. Charles Holliday, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the lot occupancy requirements under section 403, and a variance from the minimum lot width requirements under section 401, for the construction of a flat in the CAP/R-4 District at premises 315 East Capitol Street, SE (Square 787, Lot 35).

16913 - Application of Chase Plaza Dental Clinic, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the office street parking requirements under section 2101, or in the alternative, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, a special exception to allow required parking spaces to be provided on a lot other than the lot on which the building is located under subsection 2116.5, for a dental clinic in the R-5-D District at premises 5406 Connecticut Avenue, NW (Square 1857, Lot 2311).

16914 - Application of PN Hoffman, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception from the roof structure provisions of section 411 (770.6(b)) and 411.5, and pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, a variance from the residential recreation space requirements under section 773, and a variance from the maximum permitted height of a roof structure under section 1902, for the construction of an apartment house with first floor retail uses in the Arts/C-3-A District at premises 1444 Church Street, NW and 1445 P Streets, NW (Square 209, Lots 901 & 903).

16911 - Application of The Brandywine Street Association, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception for a child development center (60 children and 10 staff) under section 205, and a special exception for a community service center under section 334, and pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, a variance from the floor area ratio requirements under section 402, a variance from the lot occupancy requirements under section 403, a variance from the open court requirements under section 406, and a variance from the off-street parking requirements under section 2101, to convert and expand an apartment building into a community service center and child development center in the R-5-A District at premises 700 Brandywine Street, SE (Square 6163, Lot 125).

16917 - Application of Pilgrim AME Church, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to allow church programs (job placement counseling, meetings, bible study, seminars, youth ministry, and conferences) under section 216, and pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, a variance from the provision that the church program be carried on within an existing church building or structure under subsection 216.3, and a variance from the off-street parking requirements under section 2101; or alternatively, a variance from the use provisions under subsection 330.5, to allow a church program in a former nonconforming grocery store in the R-4 District at premises 1671 Gales Street, NE (Square 4540, Lot 191).

16916 - Application of the Friends Committee on National Legislation, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance to allow the enlargement of nonconforming non-profit office space under subsection 2002.5, in the CAP/R-4 District at premises 245 2nd Street, NE (Square 757, Lot 844).

16915 - Application of Barbara Schreiver Allan, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception for the continued operation of a child development center having 23 children and 3 staff (last authorized by BZA Order No. 15713) under section 205, in the R-1-B District at premises 2828 Hurst Terrace, NW (Square 1420, Lot 12).

16849 - Application of Robert Lehrman, pursuant to 11 DCMR §§ 3100 and 3101, from the decision of Michael D. Johnson, Zoning Administrator, effecting the issuance of building permits (Nos. B439404 and B435446) allegedly causing the illegal removal of trees protected under the Tree and Slope Protection Overlay District (section 1511) in the TSP/R-1-A District at premises 2221 30th Street, NW (Square 2198, Lot 6).
