17218 - Application of Tonya Harris, TON Inc., pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, a variance from the number of stories and building height requirements under section 400, and pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, a special exception under section 223, to allow a fourth floor addition to an existing flat (two family dwelling), not meeting the lot occupancy requirements (section 403), in the R-4 District at premises 906 T Street, N.W. (Square 362, Lot 233).

17221 - Application of Montrose, LLC, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception from the roof structure set-back provisions under subsection 411.11 (400.7(b)), for an existing five story residential condominium in the R-5-D District at premises 1819 Belmont Road, N.W. (Square 251, Lot 45).

17214 - Appeal of Advisory Neighborhood Commission 6A, pursuant to 11 DCMR §§ 3100 and 3101, from the administrative decision of the Zoning Administrator of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. Appellant alleges that the Zoning Administrator erred by issuing a certificate of occupancy permit (No. C76349, dated May 19, 2004) for a 30 seat deli/restaurant. Appellant argues that the actual use of the business is a fast food restaurant as defined by section 199, and regulated by section 733. The C-2-A zoned premises is located at 721 H Street, N.E. (Square 890, Lot 69).

17055 - Application of Army Distaff Foundation, Inc., Pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to allow a four story addition housing 25 nursing rooms accommodating 27 residents and the addition of 27 independent living units under section 219 at the Knollwood Army Retirement Residence, an existing health care facility, in the R-1-A District at premises 6200 Oregon Avenue, N.W. (Square 2339, Lot 3).

17222 - Application of Rocio Gonzalez and Facundo Fiorino, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the off-street parking requirements under subsection 2101.1, to construct a single-family detached dwelling in the R-1-B District at premises 1250 Kearney Street, N.E. (Square 3930, Lot 4).

17090 - Application of Lee C. Bauer, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the nonconforming structure provisions under subsection 2001.3, and a variance from the accessory garage alley set-back requirements under subsection 2300.2(b), to allow a roof deck addition to a free standing accessory garage in the DCOD/R-5-B District at premises 2116 O Street, N.W. 17223 - Application of Carl Mintz, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to allow a second story rear addition to an existing single-family semi-detached dwelling under section 223, not meeting the side yard requirements (section 405) and nonconforming structure requirements (2001.3) in the R-4 District at premises 704 East Capitol Street, N.E. (Square 897, Lot 805).

17192 - Application of the National Capital Revitalization Corporation, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for special exceptions pursuant to sections 353 (New Residential Development) and 2516 (Theoretical Lots), and pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, a variance from the floor area ratio requirements under section 402, a variance from the lot occupancy requirements under section 403, a variance from the rear yard requirements under section 404 and a variance from the theoretical lot requirements under subsection 2516.5(b), to construct 209 single-family row dwellings in the R-5-A District for property bounded by Fort Lincoln Drive, N.E., 31st Place, N.E., South Dakota Avenue, N.E., and 33rd Place, N.E. 17220 - Application of St. Paul’s Parish, pursuant to 11 DCMR §3104.1, for a special exception to allow a rear deck and bay window addition to an existing single-family row dwelling under section 223, not meeting the lot occupancy requirements (section 403) and nonconforming structure requirements (2001.3) in the R-4 District at premises 2214 Cathedral Avenue, N.W. (Square 2206, Lot 81). pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, ANC-2A for a variance from the lot occupancy requirements under section 403, a variance from the side yard requirements under section 405, a variance from the court requirements under section 406, a variance from the expansion provisions of the Foggy Bottom Overlay under subsection 1523.1, and a variance from the nonconforming structure provisions under subsection 2001.3, to allow the alteration and expansion of an existing church in the FB/R-3 District at premises 2422, 2424, and 1430 K Street, N.W. (Square 28, Lots 169 and 828).

17224 - Application of JPI Apartments Development LP on behalf of Father Flanagan’s Boys Home, et a, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the lot occupancy requirements under section 772, and a variance from the residential recreation space requirements under section 773, to construct a five story mixed-use residential development including residential units, grocery store, and additional retail in the C-2-B District at premises Pennsylvania and Potomac Avenues, S.E. (Square 1045, Lots 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 834, 835, 838, and 839).

17226 - Application of John R. Klein by tenant ZIPS Dry Cleaners, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to expand an existing dry cleaning establishment by 1,159 square feet under subsection 729.1 and 743.2(c), in the C-3-A District at premises 4418-4420 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. (Square 1971, Lot 815).

17211 - Application of National Broadcasting Corporation, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to permit the continued operation of a commercial broadcasting station and two commercial broadcasting towers under section 211, in the R-1-B District at premises 4001 Nebraska Avenue, N.W. (Square 1722, Lot 1).
