17358 - Application of Safe Haven Outreach Ministry, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the extension of nonconforming uses within structures provisions under subsection 2002.3, and a variance from the off-street parking requirements under subsection 2101.1, to allow the renovation of two multi-family buildings comprising of 48 units, in the R-3 District at premises 2352, 2356 and 2360 High Street, S.E. (Square 5799, Lot 976).

17356 - Appeal of Bannum, Inc., pursuant to 11 DCMR §§ 3100 and 3101, from the administrative decision of the Zoning Administrator, Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) for the revocation of Certificate of Occupancy Permit No. C53679, dated May 2, 2003, for a temporary correctional institution. Appellant alleges that DCRA erred by revoking the occupancy permit. The subject property is located in the C-M-2 District at premises 2210 Adams Place, N.E. (Square 4259, Parcel 154/81).

17376 - Application of E.L. Haynes Public Charter School, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for a variance from the requirement for an accessory use to be located on the same lot as the principle use as provided in definition of accessory use in § 199, to allow the lot to be improved for use as a Play Area for E.L. 17372 - Application of Leatrice C. Lane, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to allow a two-story rear addition to an existing single-family detached dwelling under section 223, not meeting the side yard requirements (section 405), in the R-4 District at premises 708 Shephard Road, N.W. (Square 3154, Lot 817).

17371 - Application of Nathan and Sharon Bovelle, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to allow a two car garage addition to an existing single-family detached dwelling under section 223, not meeting the rear yard requirements (section 404), in the R-1-B District at premises 1470 Roxanna Road, N.W. (Square 2758, Lot 11).

17386 - Application of the D.C. Department of Parks and Recreation, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for special exceptions to allow the percentage of lot occupancy to exceed 20% (§ 403.3), and public recreation and community center to exceed 40,000 square feet (§ 408.1), and pursuant 11 DCMR § 3103.2, for area variances to allow a height of building to exceed 45 feet (§ 400.14), from the requirement that one parking space be provided for each 2000 feet of gross floor area of building (§ 2101.1) and from the requirement that automobile parking spaces be a minimum of nine (9) feet in width and nineteen (19) feet in length (§ 2115.1) and, if necessary (in the alternative) a use variance to allow office use by the D.C. 17368 - Application of Amazing Life Games Preschool, pursuant to 11 DCMR § 3104.1, for a special exception to establish a child development center (30 children and 4 staff) within Grace Lutheran Church under section 205, in the R-1-B District at premises 4300 16th Street, N.W. (Square 2646, Lot 807).

17335 - Appeal of Kalorama Citizens Association, pursuant to 11 DCMR §§ 3100 and 3101, from the administrative decision of the Zoning Administrator (ZA) of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs. Appellant alleges that the ZA erred by issuing Building Permit No. B46999, dated March 2, 2005, allowing the erection of a roof deck. Appellant contends that the roof deck violates the maximum building height under subsection 2510.1 (Congressional Limitation On Building Heights). The subject property is located in the R-5-D District at premises 1819 Belmont Road, N.W. (Square 2551, Lot 45).

17370 - Application of Square 484 Hotel L.L.C. and 484 OPCO, L.L.C., pursuant to 11 DCMR §§ 3103.2 and 3104.1, for a special exception under subsection 2108 to reduce the amount of off-street parking spaces required under subsection 2101.1 and a variance from subsection 2115.9 and 2115.18, to allow for attendant assisted parking, applicable to an existing apartment building and hotel in the DD/C 2 C Districts at premise 555 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W. and 901 6th Street, N.W. Appellant alleges that the Zoning Administrator erred by issuing building permits for the construction of an addition to a single-family dwelling that does not comply with the lot occupancy (section 403) and side yard (section 405) requirements in the R-3 District at premises 1812 35th Street, N.W.
