04-23 - George Washington University, Application of George Washington University, pursuant to 11 DCMR §§ 3104.1 and 210, for approval of a modification to Condition No. 10 of the Campus Plan for its Foggy Bottom campus to permit the University to use the Hall on Virginia Avenue to house freshmen.

04-13 - Logan Phase II, LLC, Logan Phase II, LLC, requests approval of a consolidated planned unit development ("PUD") and related map amendment in order to construct a residential condominium building at 1200 R Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The building will consist of 63 units, three of which will be allocated as affordable housing. The PUD will also include a community room and 89 below-grade parking spaces, 20 of which will be sold to community residents. The project will contain approximately 62,996 square feet of gross floor area, and have a density of 2.71 FAR. The Application was filed on May 20, 2004, and the Zoning Commission set down the case for a public hearing at its meeting of September 13, 2004. On September 22, 2004, the Office of Zoning received a Pre-Hearing Submission and materials for the case.

04-25 - Catholic University - Map Amendment, On September 29, 2004, the Office of Zoning received an application from The Catholic University (the “applicant”) for approval of an amendment to and further processing of an approved campus plan and a map amendment from unzoned to R-5-A for Parcel 121/29 in Square 3663. The property that is the subject of this application consists of Square3654, Lots 3-6, 10, 12, 15-17, 801-806, 809-811; Square 3655, Lot 1; Square 3656, Lot 800; Square 3657, Lots 805, 821, 826; Square 3663, Parcel 121/29; Square 3671, Lots 23, 3, 802; and Square 3821, Lots 45, 45, 817, and Parcels 122/5, 122/5, 122/71, in Ward 5. The majority of the campus is zoned R-5-A. The applicant seeks an amendment to and further processing of the campus plan in order to include the West Campus within its boundaries and make viable use of the newly acquired parcel. The map amendment for Parcel 121/29 is necessary to establish the R-5-A zoning to allow its inclusion within the campus plan. This request is not inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan of the District of Columbia.

04-30 - Citadel - Planned Unit Development, On October 20, 2004, the Office of Zoning received an application from Faison Enterprises, Inc. on behalf of Jemal’s Citadel, LLC, the owner of the property, (collectively, the “applicants”). The applicants are requesting from the Zoning Commission approval of a consolidated PUD for the above-referenced property. The property that is the subject of this application consists of Lot 36 in Square 2572, in northwest Washington, D.C. (Ward 1), and is bounded by Euclid Street to the north, 16th Street to the east, Kalorama Road to the south, and 17th Street to the west. The property is currently zoned RC/C-2-B. The applicants propose to convert the existing “Citadel” building into a multi-use establishment with retail, office, grocery store, and other permitted uses as permitted by the Commission. This request is not inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan of the District of Columbia.
