04-04 - Consolidated PUD & Related Map Amendment – G.W. Carver Senior Housing, The G.W. Carver Tenants Association requests approval of a consolidated planned unit development (“PUD”) and related map amendment in order to construct a 104-unit apartment house to be occupied by low-income senior citizens on a site to be cleared of existing vacant buildings at 4800 East Capitol Street, N.E. The Application was filed on February 6, 2004, and the Zoning Commission set down the case for public hearing at its meeting of April 12, 2004. On July 13, 2004, the Office of Zoning received a Pre-Hearing Submission and materials for the case.

03-27 - 4600 Brandywine Associates, On July 22, 2003, the Office of Zoning received an application from 4600 Brandywine Associates, LLC (the “Applicant”) requesting consolidated review and one-step approval of a planned unit development (“PUD”) in order to develop a mixed-use, primarily residential project. The subject property consists of approximately 12,661 square feet of land area and is located at 4600–4614 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W. (Square 1732, Lots 817 and 820).

03-28 - Dept. of Public Works - Ft. Totten Solid Waste Transfer Facility, On July 31, 2003, the Office of Zoning received an application from SCS Engineers on behalf of the District of Columbia Public Works Solid Waste Administration. The Applicant is requesting approval of a consolidated planned unit development (“PUD”) and map amendment for the part of the property zoned R-5-A to Fort Totten Overlay/M.

04-16 - Takoma Neighborhood Commercial Overlay Zone, The District of Columbia Office of Planning (“OP”) has requested that the Zoning Commission establish and map a new Neighborhood Commercial Overlay over certain portions of the Takoma Central District. The Overlay is proposed to help advance objectives identified in the Takoma Central District Plan, which received final approval from the Council of the District of Columbia on June 4, 2002. The proposed text amendment would add a new § 1310 to Chapter 13 of Title 11 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (“DCMR”).
