The Zoning Commission (ZC) has changed their public meeting day from Monday to Thursday. Notices are published in the D.C. Register for a 30-day comment period and that period always ends on a Sunday, which is then pushed to Monday (if a Monday is a holiday, then Tuesday).
By moving the public meeting day to Thursday, it will allow public comments to be received until the close of business (5:00 p.m.) on the next business day that is not a Saturday or Sunday or a holiday, and allow the comments to be thoroughly reviewed and addressed prior to the ZC considering action. This change is effective upon the ZC reconvening after the August recess as listed in the schedule below:
